梅浦村是汕头市澄海区溪南镇西北部的行政村，在韩江下游出海口一带的丘陵地带，距澄海城区约11公里，东北同仙市交界，西南紧挨塘陇。[1][4] 据地名资料，元至大年间（1308年至1311年），有位叫邹文凤的进士来广东做官，他的次子邹松岩途经这里，看中山水而独自开村。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

初创村时，房屋建在几处小丘的四方，远望如梅花，村名因此叫「梅圃」，1946年改称梅浦。[3] 梅浦最初隶海阳县苏湾都，成化十三年（1477年）改隶饶平县，到嘉靖四十二年（1563年）澄海置县时才改隶澄海县。[2] 1946年与银砂、埭头、西埭头、三岱美合称银砂乡；1953年与塘陇、仙市、仙门合称塘陇乡；1959年设梅浦生产大队，1984年与塘陇、仙门合设水东乡，1986年11月设梅浦村，1998年9月起沿用至今。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网所录村情写作人口630人、耕地135亩，村集体经济薄弱，是澄海区22个贫困村之一，村里曾筹资40多万元修建0.8公里水泥路。[4] 百度百科记载，村域面积0.31平方千米，2024年共593人，分152户。[5] 到2026年1月，广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村名单里有梅浦村。[5]
