塘陇村是汕头市澄海区溪南镇水南片区的行政村，北面是韩江东南岸，向南延伸到南寺山的大王山一带，东邻梅浦村，西邻仙门村。[3][4] 村名原作「唐陇」，据地名资料，唐氏的文端祖在明洪武年间由福建漳州移居仙门，他的孙子庆云再分出一支，住到梅浦山脚下的陇上，村遂叫唐陇，1953年起写作塘陇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

塘陇最初隶海阳县苏湾都，成化十三年（1477年）改隶饶平县，到嘉靖四十二年（1563年）澄海置县时才改隶澄海县。[2] 1932年称唐陇乡，1946年与梅洲、董坑、仙门并为水南乡，1953年唐陇与仙市、仙门、梅浦四处并成塘陇乡；1959年成立塘陇生产大队；1984年改与梅浦、仙门组成水东乡；1986年11月设塘陇村，1998年9月起沿用至今。[2] 百度百科则称村子始建于明成化十三年，已有600多年历史，与地名资料所说的洪武年间不一致。[4]

地理环境[edit]

村在324国道西北侧，金南路、水南路穿过村域，东南部与溪南工业区相邻，隆都大排渠从村中流过。[3][4]

人口与经济[edit]

村域约1450亩，用地分作山林200亩、农田700亩、工业150亩、鱼塘150亩、畜牧150亩、宅基80亩；人口2100人，绝大多数是农业户口。[3] 村里养殖澄海狮头鹅种苗，生猪也已规模饲养。[3]

文化[edit]

村里的塘陇小学于2002年投建，投资228万元，占地17.5亩；幼儿园于2003年投建；老年人协会活动中心2000年建成，2008年又扩建；同在2008年开始兴建社区文化广场。[3] 2008年，镇里把塘陇评为精神文化建设的先进单位。[3]
