上岱美村是汕头市澄海区溪南镇的行政村，在莲南工业区东北端，背靠南峙山，324国道贯穿全境。[1][3] 相传南宋嘉熙元年（1237年）福建莆田人迁此定居；因地处海滩坝陇之末，原称「埭尾」，后雅称岱美，岱美分东岱、上岱、下岱三村，此村在北部，故称上岱美。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
上岱美最初隶海阳县苏湾都，成化十三年（1477年）改隶饶平县，到嘉靖四十二年（1563年）澄海置县时才改隶澄海县；清嘉庆年间，与埭头正式分称。[2] 1932年设三岱美乡，1946年并入银砂乡，1953年分设上岱美、东岱美两村，同归岱美乡；1956年改属银砂乡，次年并入水东乡。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网所录村情写作全村有1248户、4769人，总面积2600多亩，分5个村民小组；村民姓陈、蚁、李、黄、朱、吴的居多，村里自称在二战时期是革命老区。[3] 上岱美村在2020年、2021年、2022年的淘宝村名单上都有名。[1]
