神洲村是汕头市澄海区莲下镇中部的行政村，安澄公路南侧，博雅地名网、百度百科等写作神州村。古称州子寨，清末因村前有神洲古庙而改称神州。[1][2]革命烈士王绍杰是本村人。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋末年（约1270年）已有麦、何二姓在此定居。1950年与下王、坟埕合称德邻乡，1952年与许厝、李厝宫合称建华乡，1958年称104团，1963年自德邻拆出独立设村。[2]

人口姓氏[edit]

村域0.78平方千米，耕地624亩。2009年底485户2159人，有王、马、林、关、杜等7姓，王为主姓，来自下王（今槐南）。[2]

经济[edit]

村民仍以种稻和蔬菜为主，韭菜、芥蓝较有名；1995年辟围仔工业区，企业做塑料玩具。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村前神洲古庙为清乾隆年间（约1736年）村民捐建，现有三棵大榕树，树龄约270年。[2]

著名人物[edit]

王绍杰（1905—1945），1925年加入共青团，次年转为共产党员，曾任农协会特派员，后任新四军第一师司令部秘书长。[1][2][3]
