历史沿革[edit]
先后属兰溪乡、莲中乡、维新乡、前溪乡、程洋冈乡，1958年编为111团，1961年后独立设村。[2]
人口姓氏[edit]
村域0.79平方千米，耕地394亩。2009年底386户1646人，有姚、郑、黄三姓。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以务农为主；1960、70年代村办企业一度兴旺，生产副食品，1980年代后倒闭；1990年代有12个水磨石队，从业200多人。现在企业做塑料玩具和工艺加工。[2]
文化教育[edit]
1916年黄嘉名在黄家祠创办崇雅小学堂，1993年旅泰侨胞黄两镇独资捐建潜溪两镇小学。村内有两处文物，一为县级重点保护文物，一为南宋进士黄中立之京湖元帅墓。侨界知名人士黄两镇、郑开修是本村人。[2]
