陈厝洲村是汕头市澄海区莲下镇中部的行政村，莲南路北侧。明末陈厝（今建阳）人陈仰东到这里立村，此地原是陈厝乡的洲园，故名。^[1]^[2]村里的《双咬鹅舞》2007年列入汕头市第一批市级非物质文化遗产名录。^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

先后属渡亭乡、八联乡、潮港乡，1958年编为110团；1984年同沟内、新寮合成建新乡，1987年后各自设村。^[2]

村域0.42平方千米，耕地332亩。2009年底298户1347人，有陈、杜2姓，陈为主姓，来自建阳。^[2]

村民世代爱奏潮州音乐，演奏潮州大锣鼓已有几百年，周边乐友常来聚奏。1970年起排演配潮乐的动物舞《双咬鹅》，2000年赴新加坡演出。2006年12月，该村被汕头市文化广电新闻出版局评为「汕头市第一批民族民间艺术之乡」；次年1月，市政府把《双咬鹅舞》收进第一批市级非物质文化遗产名录。^[2]

仰东祖祠内存有御赐“华鬘锡祉”牌匾。^[2]

旧时多数村民租田耕种，并有制土纸的传统。1991年、1995年先后开辟沟墘和莲东路工业区。1990年建成财发学校，2003年并入建阳小学。^[2]
