港内村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于榕江边。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村562户、2592人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属灶浦镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：靠近榕江，溪流环绕，故名港内。[1]

南宋景定元年（1260年）建村。[1]

新中国成立初期称港内大队；1958年先属光锋公社，随后归金玉公社，1968年划归灶浦公社；2004年，港内、后林两个村委会合并，村委会设在原港内村。[1]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，全村耕地615亩，辖2个自然村。当地主要出产稻谷、香蕉。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2023年5月获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

涵元塔又名京冈塔，俗称龟山塔，立在村旁龟山之巅，由当时的揭阳知县冯元飚倡建，明天启七年（1627年）动工，崇祯十二年（1639年）落成。塔为八角七层的楼阁式砖石结构，通高43.4米，塔门石匾刻“涵元宝塔”，内有螺旋形石阶通达各层，塔旁存碑刻5通。1992年它先被列为潮阳县的文物保护单位，2019年进入广东省文物保护单位第九批名单，据百度百科由港内村委会管理。[2]

塔西约200米是经山古寺（村情简介写作径山古寺），始建于明嘉靖年间，相传由浙江籍僧人大悟祖师募化建成，20世纪80年代经住持组织修缮。[3]
