新寨头村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于小北山下。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村242户、1133人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属灶浦镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：是继大寨头之后建立的村寨，所以叫新寨头。[1]

清康熙二十五年（1686年），先人到此建村。[1]

1958年先属光锋公社，随后归金玉公社，1968年划归灶浦公社；1984年改乡，1986年设村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，全村耕地303亩，林地243亩，辖1个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉、蔬菜。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2023年5月获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
