径头村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于金灶镇西部、旗鼓径山麓。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村680户、3380人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属金玉镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：位于旗鼓径山脚，故名径头。[1]

明嘉靖二十年（1541年），先人到此建村。[1]

公社化时期属光锋公社，之后归金玉公社；1984年称径头乡，1986年设村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，全村耕地463亩，林地3187亩，辖1个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉、生柑、杨梅、橄榄、荔枝、油甘。村内有寨后凤山，村情简介把它列为景点；辖区内设有五金加工企业和食用菌种植基地。据村情简介，该村1996至1998年间潮阳市评其为先进基层党组织，2009年又获文明村称号。[1][2]
