巷内村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇的行政村，在榕江中下游南岸，隔江与揭东相望，曾因江边炮台称“南炮台”乡。[1][2]

名称与历史[edit]

据博雅地名网，先人原籍潮安县金石镇古楼乡巷底厅，故取旧址之名。[1]村简介称，建乡于明永乐初年，林氏六世祖创村，村子最早叫“京北乡”。[2]明弘治五年（1492年）围海造田筑堤围，这里成为海防要隘，清顺治年间江两岸各建一座炮台，乡名又改称南炮台。[2]1958年公社化时为巷内大队，1984年改设巷内乡，1999年起称村民委员会。[1]

村情[edit]

简介称村中现住人口四千三百多人，农业高产，并有织席加工；2007年重修南炮台关帝庙，2008年重修林氏祖祠。简介未注明年份。入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单）。[1][2]
