下榕角村是韶关市翁源县官渡镇下辖的行政村，区划代码440229109205，位于镇西南，西、南两面与英德市交界。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据说此地是翁江西岸片区最靠下的一角，村边又有一棵老榕树，故名。[1]据区划资料，下榕角在1949至1957年为下榕角乡，1958至1983年为下榕角大队，1983至1986年复称下榕角乡，1986至1993年为下榕角村委会，1993至1998年为下榕角管理区，1998年起称下榕角村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

辖区面积约16平方千米，11个村民小组，总人口2103人，离县城32公里，离镇政府约3公里。[2]

经济[edit]

村内以工业为主，有驾驶员培训、家具制造、精密工业、毛皮、花卉等企业，村民多在附近工厂上班。村党总支用「党支部加企业」的办法组建治安联防队，负责官渡考场和驾校练车区域的巡逻。[2]
