历史沿革[edit]
村名的说法是此地粮食充足，热闹得像一座小城镇。[1]解放前这里称民安乡，取民众安居乐业之意；1949至1957年为镇仔乡，1958至1983年为镇仔大队，1983至1986年复称镇仔乡，1986至1993年为镇仔村委会，1993至1998年为镇仔管理区，1998年起称镇仔村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村离镇政府约20公里，平均海拔约300米，省道245线穿村而过，下辖25个自然村小组，户籍人口4843人。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
镇仔节孝牌坊在邹屋自然村，建于清嘉庆五年（1800年），2021年8月被翁源县人民政府公布为第九批县级文物保护单位，保护范围为文物本体，面积8平方米。[3][4]村里另有太平寺、迴龙庙会等景观。[2]
经济[edit]
村内种植水稻四千多亩，玉米、果蔗等一千七百多亩，另有三华李、枣、鹰嘴桃、柑桔等水果约500亩，家庭农场4家。韶关立华牧业有限公司在村内建种鸡和孵化场项目。[2]
