历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来是从佛子高处到村里，要下一个陡坡，与客家话的读音相近。[1]据区划资料，下陂在1949至1957年为下陂乡，1958至1983年为下陂大队，1983至1986年复称下陂乡，1986至1993年为下陂村委会，1993至1998年为下陂管理区，1998年起称下陂村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
省道245线穿村而过，村委会离镇政府15公里，下辖14个村小组，居民2811人。[2]
文化[edit]
村里有一座福主庙，名九龙宫，每逢初一、十五和节日都有村民前来祭祀；村内有下陂小学一所。[2]
经济[edit]
村里种红葱头700多亩，成立专业合作社，带动298户约500人种植；还有水稻一千九百多亩，锥栗120亩，苦瓜300亩，以及辣椒和丝瓜合计470亩；家庭农场7家。[2]
