历史沿革[edit]
村名因古时的一个典故，说是耕地原本分布在河两岸。[1]据区划资料，龙船在1949至1957年为龙船乡，1958至1983年为龙船大队，1983至1986年复称龙船乡，1986至1993年为龙船村委会，1993至1998年为龙船管理区，1998年起称龙船村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
国道358线贯通全村，离韶新高速官渡出口2公里，面积约9.5平方千米，分21个村民小组，居民4062人；村内灌溉主要靠九牛陂大圳，全长约18公里。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙船浮桥、涂志伟美术馆和涂文安摄影馆都在村境内；村委会设有一座抗日纪念亭，另存宗祠10座。[2]官渡镇政府的介绍还提到龙船村的文昌楼。[4]
经济[edit]
村民种甘蔗400多亩、花生和水稻2000多亩，火龙果300多亩，另有五指毛桃加工厂、育苗场和种植基地，家庭农场4家。[2]
著名人物[edit]
涂志伟，1951年生于龙船村，广州美术学院毕业，1987年起留学并定居美国。他常以中国历史事件入画，作写实油画；2004年出任全美油画家协会主席，为该协会首位华裔主席。[3]
