历史沿革[edit]
村名因聚居地的形状像一条龙而来。[1]据区划资料，利龙在1949至1957年为利龙乡，1958至1983年为利龙大队，1983至1986年复称利龙乡，1986至1993年为利龙村委会，1993至1998年为利龙管理区，1998年起称利龙村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
国道358线贯穿全村，离镇政府6公里，面积约10.63平方千米，分17个村民小组，居民3655人。[2]
经济[edit]
村民种水稻1100多亩、蔬菜500多亩，另有三华李、水晶梨、猕猴桃等190多亩，并发展鱼菜共生项目，注册合作社2家、家庭农场3家。村里引入了生物质发电项目。[2]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，利龙村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
