历史沿革[edit]
村内原有彭、陈两姓，村名各取两姓字形的右半边合成，故名。[1]据区划资料，东三在1949至1957年为东三乡，1958至1983年为东三大队，1983至1986年复称东三乡，1986至1993年为东三村委会，1993至1998年为东三管理区，1998年起称东三村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村面积约14.7平方千米，分12个村民小组，居民2907人，离汕昆高速六里出口3公里。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
解放战争时期，村里曾是游击队活动基地的地下交通站，现有烈士纪念碑一座和民国时期建成的老围楼。[2]
经济[edit]
村里养淡水鱼约2080亩，种鹰嘴桃约60亩，有家庭农场2家，其中1家为省级示范家庭农场。[2]
