官渡镇属广东省韶关市翁源县，位于县境西南部，南邻英德市青塘镇，辖2个社区、19个行政村。^[1]^[3]镇域面积约240平方千米，北江支流滃江横穿其间，韶新高速、汕昆高速和国道106线、358线都经过这里。^[1]^[2]镇名来自滃江上的一处古渡口。^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

官渡古称细草岗，后来因几条溪流在此汇合，改称九龙铺。相传从前有位官员回乡，在这里被涨水的滃江拦住，出钱买船雇人摆渡，船夫和船此后留下载人，渡口渐成，当地人为纪念这位官员，称之为官渡。^[2]

明代，这一带属宜阳乡，清代称九龙铺；1937年（民国二十六年）设九龙乡，属翁源县第七区；新中国成立之初称利龙乡。此后建置屡有更动：1958年10月起称翁江公社，1971年易名官渡公社，1977年划归六里公社，次年又单立官渡公社。1983年7月，公社改为区，1986年改为官渡乡，1992年改乡为镇。2001年庙墩镇并入，2004年六里镇也并入官渡镇。^[2]

官渡镇东接龙仙镇、周陂镇，北邻翁城镇、江尾镇，南与英德市青塘镇相连，海拔约100米，气候温暖，雨量充沛。镇政府介绍称全镇有林地面积23.59万亩，覆盖率达65%；博雅地名网所载森林面积为24.19万亩。^[1]^[2]

从镇域出发，到广州196公里，到韶关77公里，到县城龙仙镇32公里。^[1]

翁源县人民政府的介绍写镇域有户籍人口5.08万、常住人口3.78万；博雅地名网则写截至2023年12月，户籍5.14万人，常住3.78万人。^[1]^[2]第七次全国人口普查（2021年）的结果为3.78万人，在翁源县各乡镇中居第2位。^[2]

据镇政府介绍，2025年官渡镇的地区生产总值为23.3亿元，增速5.2%，在全县排第二；规模以上工业产值39.65亿元，比上年增7.19%，固定资产投资完成5872万元。镇里的市场主体已超过3427户，企业占469家，当年新培育「四上」企业3家。^[1]

2021年9月，官渡镇列入广东省农业农村厅公布的第三批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇名单（肉鸡）；2026年5月，又列入广东省首批现代化建设中心镇。^[2]镇内的新南村（肉鸡）、东三村（蔬菜）、新跃村（百香果）、联盟村（牛大力）也分别入选省级「一村一品」专业村。^[2]

镇政府列出的镇内古建筑有镇仔村的节孝牌坊、坑尾村的詹圣庙、龙船村的文昌楼和社背村的杨氏宗祠。^[1]六里街建有文安摄影艺术馆，由六里籍摄影家涂文安设计并出资兴建，2015年7月竣工，占地约3000平方米，免费开放。^[1]^[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇仔节孝牌坊：在镇仔村邹屋自然村，建于清嘉庆五年（1800年），翁源县人民政府于2021年8月将其列为县级文物保护单位（第九批）。^[4]^[5]
神背岭墓葬群：在官渡村，2012年7月被县里定为文物保护单位（第六批）。^[4]
涂志伟美术馆：在滃江河畔，三面环山，一面临水，用地38亩，建筑面积约1.7万平方米，前后修建六年，耗资6000万元，2013年10月29日起对外开放，陈列旅美画家涂志伟的作品。^[6]

著名人物[edit]

吴广（？～1601），坪田村人，明代与陈璘同时期的将领，曾任福建南路参将。^[2]
涂志伟，1951年生于龙船村（旧属六里），旅美油画家，2004年出任全美油画家协会主席，是该会第一位华裔主席。^[6]
涂文安，六里人，国际摄影家。^[1]
