黄塘村位于安远镇北部，北邻后溪村，东接里坑村，南与安远村相邻，西与张垣村相连。[1]

村名的“黄塘”即黄泥池塘，村民在多黄泥池塘之处定居成村。[1]

荣誉：2024年7月，被命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属招得里，民国时为黄塘保，建国初设黄塘乡。1958年，黄塘与里坑曾并为一个大队，1961年分开，单独设大队。1984年9月改制后属安远乡，设黄塘村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
