黄塘村位于广东省惠州市惠东县白花镇，是该镇的村级单位之一。村旁山峰连绵，一条狭窄曲折的山路在大山中穿行，通往平山，旧称大山口；后来因村附近的池塘水色发黄，改称黄塘。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
先民明朝迁入。清代，此地属惠州府归善县平山司黄森木社的大山口约；1931年8月划入惠阳县平山第六区，当时叫大山口乡；1947年改归第四区忠信乡，1949年12月起称黄塘村，隶平白区忠信乡。1951年11月属白花区凌坑乡，1957年12月叫黄塘乡，1958年10月起设黄塘大队；1961年6月隶平山区碧山公社，并分出新楼、下塘、黄塘三个大队，1963年2月又回到白花公社。1983年11月设黄塘乡，到1987年3月成立村委，1990年称管理区，1999年4月起称黄塘村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
- 首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单于2020年8月由省农业农村厅公布，黄塘村在列，产业为盐焗鸡。[1]
