历史沿革[edit]
石涧社区居委会成立于2005年，由石涧村委会和居委会合并而成。村委会一名始于1999年，之前曾叫石涧管理区（1989年）、石涧乡（1984年）、石涧大队（1958年）；更早，农民在1953年组互助组，1954年办初级社（名红辉社），1956年并入石涧高级社，民国时期则属石涧乡。[1][2]2012年，石涧镇并入宾亨镇，社区随之归宾亨镇管辖。[3]
地理与经济[edit]
耕地约1000多亩，林地3800多亩，地势平缓，是原石涧镇的主要蔬菜基地。省道连大线和二广高速公路从境内穿过。居民收入以种菜和外出务工为主；社区集体收入来自饮食经营、市场铺位出租和山田承包出租。[1]
