黄塘村在乌迳镇东南，离圩镇约3公里，辖10个村民小组，566户2572人（博雅地名网村情介绍，未注明年份）。[1]
地名由来[edit]
当地土质发黄，又有六口大水塘相连成条，故称黄塘。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设黄塘农会，1954年转为初级社，1956年转为高级社，1961年转为大队，1983年实行政社分设，改称乡，1988年转为管理区，1998年12月管理区改制，设黄塘村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
地形以丘陵红土为主，山林1200亩、耕地4315亩，主要种黄烟。2019年9月，黄塘村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
