新寨村位于普宁市区东北约3公里处，隶属流沙北街道，新河绕村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新寨在1958年归流沙红色公社的文扬乡，1960年改归新扬乡。1962年成为流沙公社的新寨大队，1980年改设新寨管理委员会。1984年，它归流沙区管辖，设为新寨乡；1986年又转为流沙镇的村委会。1990年改称管理区，1999年再改为村委会，并沿用至今。[1]

2023年11月，新寨村入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村名单。[1]
