向阳村在灰寨镇西部，靠近五灰公路，南山镇与京溪园镇都与它相邻；村内有章坝、岭下等9个自然村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

向阳村的前身是1958年设立的向阳大队。1984年2月大队撤销，改设向阳乡政府；1986年起建为村民委员会，1990年改为管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村民委员会，名称沿用至今[1]。

经济[edit]

2009年，全村农村经济总收入为2458万元[1]。村民年均收入4781元。当地仍然靠传统农业为主，芒果、荔枝等水果较多，近年引进了几家企业，村中还建有变电站和小水电站[2]。

荣誉与建设[edit]

2021年12月，本村获得「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会授出[1]。2020年，向阳村列入灰寨镇农房管控和风貌提升示范带的十个村之一[3]。
