红星村是广东省清远市英德市白沙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东部，距镇政府约2公里，辖11个自然村[1]。村名取“红心向党”之意，新中国成立后人们获得解放，当地方言“星”与“心”同音[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

红星这一带在1958年为大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年起成为村委会；1990年改称管理区，直至1998年10月7日重新定为村委会[1][3]。

荣誉与建设[edit]

2019年12月，红星村列入第二批「国家森林乡村」名单，名单由国家林业和草原局公布[1]。

2023年，红星村的长江自然村被评为“特色村”[4]。
