向阳村是连山壮族瑶族自治县永和镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北部，距镇政府约1公里，北边与禾洞镇相邻。村内以瑶族居民为多。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是由红阳村委会与中阳村委会合并而成。2004年10月，县政府以山府函〔2004〕70号文批准此名，正式设立向阳村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

瑶族1610人，占全村总人口的72.8%，全村共10个自然村，人口合计2210人。村民多以尹、周、李、唐、黎等姓为主。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地2560亩，其中水田2371亩，林地12975亩。村民收入以莲藕、马蹄和水稻为主，兼养三鸟、鱼，并从事木材生产。[1]

文化[edit]

唐屋村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，授予方为广东省爱卫会，时间为2023年5月。[1]
