新兴村是清新区山塘镇下辖的行政村，村委会与镇政府相邻，村内有耕地、水田和鱼塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：此地原是废弃的圩场，建立新的村委会时便取名新兴。[1]

1953年设新兴乡，1958年改为新兴大队，1982年又称乡，1986年改为新兴村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年恢复村委会；2004年9月，良种场村委会并入，合并后仍以新兴为名。[1]

经济[edit]

旧厂房被改成了一幢三层的产业楼，面积1000平方米上下，投入150万元，资金来自村集体、上级拨款和社会捐助。楼下做食用油加工，中间一层给慈善会和商会用，顶层计划用作腊味车间。村里预计这幢楼投用后，村集体每年能有13万元左右的进账。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年初，新兴村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[3]

庄一村是新兴村的一个村民小组所在地，它在2023年5月获得「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
