历史沿革[edit]

大坡村的建村时间为明永乐年间（1403—1424年），村名就定为大坡村。[1]

大坡村1951年建乡，1958年成为大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年换成村委会，1989年又成管理区。[1]

阳春市人民政府于1999年3月15日核准组建大坡村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，大坡村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]

2021年12月，太和村被确定为「2021年度阳江市卫生村」。[1]
