建中村是广东省肇庆市广宁县石咀镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部，东北方向与洲仔镇、古水镇交界，约占地23.28平方千米，是全镇面积最大、人口最多、村庄分布最散的行政村。[1]
历史沿革与地名[edit]
清道光年间称黄塘寨，属膺洞铺；1930年为黄塘乡，属三区。新中国成立后，1954年立建中农业社，其后依次改称大队（1958年）、乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1998年定名建中村民委员会。[2]“建中”取“建设新中国”之意，得名于1954年成立农业社时。[3]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：全村3457人，分26个村民小组，耕地1844亩，林地三万余亩。山林多，村民栽沙糖桔400亩、用材林1450亩，也有人外出创业。2006年，镇通往该村的公路改为水泥路面，通往古水镇的村道也已改建。[1]
