汶水村是广宁县赤坑镇南部的行政村，南面与坑口镇接壤，辖区面积22.8平方公里，辖36个村民小组，总人口3350多人，村委会距镇政府3公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
汶水始建于清道光元年（1821年），梁、马、曾、谢等姓居民先后迁入，地属永义铺。民国时期，这里曾是二十五区区公所的驻地；1930年分设汶水、夏锡、淑沙、横石四乡，后归雍穆乡，1946年又设汶水乡。[2]1951年为三区汶水乡，1958年起为汶水大队，1983年改乡，1987年改称村委会，1998年起称村民委员会。[2]
地名由来[edit]
1983年设汶水乡，1987年改为汶水村委会，村名因此而来。[1]
经济[edit]
村里山地多，林木以松、杉、竹为主，土特产有蜂蜜、笋干、白花茶油和风栗。[1]
