名称与历史沿革[edit]

明朝时，当地瑶民称此地为唐迳山。之后双滘区设立了红星高级农业社[1]。该村1949年设乡，1958年转为大队，1983年为乡政府，1986年为村委会，1989年为管理区。1999年2月5日，阳春市政府另设红星村委会[1]。
