历史沿革[edit]

1949年设乡，1958年并入大队，1983年称乡政府，1986年改称村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年3月4日，经阳春市人民政府批文，设立上垌村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

农业部在2013年7月认定上垌村为第三批全国「一村一品」示范村镇，产业是蚕桑。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，上垌村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
