杉山村是广东省茂名市化州市播扬镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，辖13个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，早先是杉山乡，此后名称依次为：杉山大队（1962年）、杉山乡（1983年）、杉山村民委员会（1987年）、杉山管理区办事处（1989年），1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村民委员会自述（未注年份）：在册725户、3932人，村域面积3.8平方千米，耕地1350亩；种植的经济作物以水稻、香蕉、速生林为主，上一年农村经济总收入865万元。村里着力发展水稻种植，兼种速生林和香蕉。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
