罗洪村在悦城镇西部，旧321国道穿境而过，村域面积约26.91平方千米，分14个村民小组，人口3800多；村委会离悦城圩镇约6千米，离县城约45千米。[1] 村内的罗洪莫氏大宗祠是省级文物保护单位，该村在2014年11月被收入第三批中国传统村落名录。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
罗洪原为乡，1986年11月之前即已如此，后来改称大队；1991年1月变为管理区办事处，1998年定名罗洪村民委员会，由德庆县人民政府批准设立。[1]
经济[edit]
村里利用本地石灰石资源和引进蔬菜种植发展集体经济，山上种丰产林，山脚至山腰种柑桔，水田种水稻、蔬菜和花生，山塘和小型水库养鱼。[1][3] 紫淮山产业使罗洪村进了广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的第一批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；2026年3月，该村所在地又认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中现存莫氏大宗祠和履恕、竹斋、梅村、敏斋、尧夫、雪峰六座莫公祠，共7座古祠堂。莫氏大宗祠建于明隆庆五年（1571年），清乾隆三十六年（1771年）重建，砖木石结构，占地527.45平方米；其中堂的石柱础是明代晚期的做法，中堂、后堂的梁架则偏清代中前期。履恕莫公祠建于清乾隆十三年（1748年）。[2][4]
