龙岗村位于阳西县程村镇，村名取自龙窝与岗咀两处人口较多的村落，各用一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月此地属阳江县六区，同年11月定名为红旗行政村。1953年改隶阳江县十二区，1956年划入程村区，1958年曾先后隶属程村乡和大跃进人民公社，1959年改为红旗生产大队。[2]

1967年起由龙岗革命委员会管理，1980年起称生产大队管委会。1983年春设龙岗乡；1987年2月组建龙岗村委会，属程村镇；1988年阳西建县后归阳西县程村镇。1989年9月改为龙岗管理区，1999年9月恢复为龙岗村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年度「阳江市卫生村」名单中，井头园村、下步村于2021年12月入选。2019年9月，龙岗村列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
