历史沿革[edit]
据传明末文人李素在这里结庐授徒，在门上横书「龙岗」二字，村名由此而来。[1]
清末属嘉应州龙文堡，1931年起隶梅县龙文乡，1949年归梅南区，1958年划入梅南公社；1987年设龙岗管理区，1999年改为龙岗村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，该村获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予的首批广东省卫生村称号；2026年3月，又被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
