龙福村在播植镇南部，离播植圩镇约9公里，由龙祝、获福两片合成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
龙祝片包括罗容、龙岗、龙村、格岸、祝村；获福片包括天昔、高陂、湾头、获口和双江。两片并为一村时，各取一个字，叫龙福。[1]新中国成立初期属洛阳乡；1958年设龙福生产大队，其后依次改称龙福乡（1983年）、村民委员会（1986年）、管理区（1989年），1998年重回村民委员会。[1]2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
经济[edit]
503户1961人，水田1821亩，另有沙糖桔、贡柑1380亩。村民多种地或外出打工，集体收入靠出租鱼塘和房屋。[1]
