历史沿革[edit]
土改时（1951年）这里称龙岗乡，高级社时期（1956年）叫维新合作社，人民公社化后成了中新公社的龙岗大队。朱村公社成立后，龙岗大队被编入前锋大队；至1978年，前锋大队一分为三，龙岗、龙新、联兴各自独立。[1]
公社撤销、朱村改区后，龙岗大队改称龙岗乡（1983年）；1987年撤区建镇，乡改为村，龙岗村民委员会随之成立，名称沿用至今；2004年2月起属朱村街道。[1]
经济[edit]
村里耕地有4300亩，住着1698名常住居民（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。2020年8月，龙岗村进入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品类是增城丝苗米。[1]
此外，村子在2017年10月得到第一批广东省卫生村称号，2023年8月被评为2022年度「广州市美丽乡村」，2026年1月又获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
