中和村是广东省河源市和平县合水镇下辖的行政村，村名的来历是地处中心位置，村民希望和睦相处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年，中和管理区撤销，改设中和村村民委员会。此前的1988年，全村划分为36个村民小组；1982年改设中和管理委员会。1960年，村子分为6个小生产队。[2]

中和村原称“永丰乡”，土改前相当于现在合水镇的驻地。土改后，中和村的范围包括政和；1956年政和划出，独立为中和大队。1957年改称高级社，1958年转为低级社。[2]

荣誉方面，2026年1月，中和村获评广东省第二批百千万工程典型村。2022年1月，中和村被广东省乡村振兴局列为2021年度乡村治理示范村的创建对象。[1]
