新丰村在水唇镇东部，榕江河东侧，是离圩镇最近的村，距镇政府不足1公里，共11个自然村，有洋面坑、陂下、田心、石马、下庭前、上庭前、下大窝、上大窝、老圩、石下和竹江。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

新丰原属高丰大队，1962年才分出另立。后来依次为新丰乡人民政府（1984年3月）、村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年），1999年起称新丰村民委员会。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

镇政府新介绍称面积10平方千米，535户3200余人，常住约2000人；较早的介绍记常住2900人。[1][2]村里山多地少，山上种油茶和果树，田里种水稻，也有鱼塘和家畜养殖；村内一家企业吸纳了不少本村劳动力。[2][3]

2020年12月，新丰村列入2020年「广东省‘民主法治示范村（社区）’创建单位」；2021年4月，上榜「汕尾市2020年度市级文明村镇」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[3]
