庵前村是海丰县公平镇的山区行政村，离县城约25公里、镇区13公里，是西坑林场和原西坑乡政府的所在地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武年间由福建戴姓人立村。1958年设国营西坑林场庵前管理区，接着1964年属县西坑林场，随后1966年改庵前大队，再后来1987年改村委会，此后1989年改管理区，接着1994年属西坑乡，随后1998年复设村委会，再后来2005年划入公平镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

北邻惠东县高潭镇，西接惠东县新庵镇，面积约4平方千米，辖土家輋、白石下、龙首树、庵前四个自然村，海紫公路从村边通过。[1]

人口民族[edit]

有218户、1100多人，耕地304亩。[1]

经济[edit]

种水稻、番薯、花生、柑橘、茶叶，多数村民外出经商务工。2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
