名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，位于叶塘（旧叶塘区）的西面，靠山坡，故名西山。[1]

1949年为山西村农会，1950至1957年为山西大队，1963至1986年设山西乡，其后叫山西管理区，1999年改为山西村委会（博雅地名网所记的名称）。[1]
