上围村是惠东县平山街道下辖的行政村，原属多祝镇，2017年10月划入平山街道，由梌村围分出的村民立村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

梌村围人口增多后，一部分村民搬到老村上方另立新村，土地改革工作队给它取名上围。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上围在1963年2月是多祝公社下的大队；1977年分设上围、凤岗两个大队，1983年一并归入大路乡。1987年3月，依惠东府函〔1987〕13号文单设村委，1990年起称管理区，1998年改称村委会。2017年10月，经粤民函〔2017〕2295号文由多祝镇划入平山街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，上围村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
