西埔村位于惠州市龙门县龙田镇，村委会驻西埔。据博雅地名网，村民原先住在旧梁村的谭田围，后迁到现址，距今近700年；新址在谭田围西边的开阔平地上，故名西埔。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
西埔在1951年12月设乡，1958年改为大队，1984年恢复为乡，1987年起设村委会，1989年又称管理区。[1]
文化[edit]
西埔村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位（2023年4月公布），2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。龙田镇把这里作为「中国好人村」来经营，村里出过黄子能、程木华两位「中国好人」。[1][2]
