上围村是肇庆市高要区小湘镇辖下的行政村，地处小湘镇西南部、西江南岸，占地约8平方千米，分11个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
上围村解放前归保平乡，1955年划归窦头乡。1958年并入东风公社，设上围大队；1959年改隶小湘公社，名称未变。其后1983年为乡，1987年为村委会，1989年为管理区，1998年管理区撤销，恢复村委会建制。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，上围村有616户、2174人。耕地1600亩、山地9232亩，距镇城区约3公里。农户以种稻为主，2009年农民人均纯收入约5334元。[1]
