莲花社区属惠东县平山街道，1999年6月由红光居委会分出。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区得名莲花地：有一条莲花小溪从象山脚下流进来。1999年6月自红光居委析出，设莲花居委；2002年依粤民基〔2002〕5号文改为莲花社区居民委员会。[1]

社区荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，莲花社区被评为「惠州市2021年度绿色社区」。[1]
