黄岐社区前身为黄岐村，在大沥镇最东端，隔界与广州相接，广佛公路、广佛新干线和广州环城高速公路西环段经过，面积约3平方公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
黄岐原名黄竹岐，明万历三十七年（1609年）已设置黄竹岐。1988年自盐步镇析出设黄岐镇；1997年撤镇设区，2003年改设街道，2005年并入大沥镇。[2]
人口民族[edit]
常住农业人口约六千，外来暂住者一万多；村下分17个村民小组、5个自然村。[1]
经济[edit]
1994年起实行土地股份合作制，设立17个股份公司和一个联合股份经济合作社。2009年，两级经济总收入6470万元，人均股份分红6530元。[1]
黄岐村2003年12月评为省卫生村，同年11月通过民主法治村验收。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
黄岐龙母庙位于黄岐公园内，1997年重建，前身是清道光二十八年（1848年）建的龙母古庙；每年农历五月初八龙母诞举办龙舟赛，黄岐龙母诞列入佛山市级非物质文化遗产。[3]
