新结村是罗阳街道下辖的行政村，原属义和镇。1958年以前，牛田岭与龙溪镇的结窝合为一个大队，1959年公社化后分属两个公社，牛田岭属义和，后来两地重新结合，因而取名新结。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代隶博罗县典史署（冷水约），民国时期编入一、二区十六保。新中国成立后先归一区附城乡，1952年7月属七区，1956年11月属义和乡；1958年1月，它是龙溪公社的结窝大队；1963年起另设新结大队，属附城公社；1975年7月改隶义和公社，1983年11月设新结乡，1986年1月改为管理区，1999年起沿用“义和镇新结村”之名；2002年义和并入罗阳镇后，改隶罗阳镇，设村民委员会。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年4月，新结村成为广东省「乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
