水上社区是罗阳街道辖下的社区，居民临江而居，大多以捕鱼为生，故名水上。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区前身为博罗县的水上人民公社，其后由观音阁水上运输公司、泰美的两个公司、博城的四个公司、轮机修建厂、综合厂等共十一个单位转制而成，2011年11月成立罗阳镇水上社区。2024年12月，水上社区被评为惠州市2024年度绿色社区。[1]
