新圩镇是广东省惠州市惠阳区西部的一个镇，西邻东莞市清溪镇，南接深圳市坪地街道，北靠镇隆镇，据2019年的区划辖1个社区、11个行政村，2020年又增设塘吓社区。^[1]^[2]^[3]

镇域面积158.4平方千米，在惠阳区各街道和镇中居第一。镇名来自清代后期由打禾岗圩南移而成的新集市。^[1]^[2]^[3]

历史沿革[edit]

在明清两代，这里属上下淮社（也称都），到清同治九年（1870年）划入圣堂约堡。进入民国后，1931年起它隶属淡水第二区，一直到1947年。^[1]^[4]

新中国成立初期，辖地分为约场、新圩两个乡，先后归龙岗的二区（1950年）和三区（1951年11月，区府驻龙岗）。1957年末合称新圩乡；1958年办人民公社，1962年4月新圩与约场两社并属淡水区，次年统称新圩公社。^[4]改革开放后，1984年1月公社所在地改设新圩区，1987年1月撤区建镇，即今新圩镇。^[1]^[4]

地名由来[edit]

新圩最早的集市在打禾岗，位于佛祖坳下，只有十来间小店。清代后期人口增加、贸易兴旺，旧集市容纳不下，交易渐渐移到南面约1千米处，形成新的圩市，人们称它新圩，镇名由此而来。^[2]^[3]

地理环境[edit]

新圩镇处在惠州、深圳、东莞三地交界地带，据博雅地名网转述的镇情介绍，镇中心距淡水街道18公里，距惠州市区29公里，距深圳市区49公里，距东莞市区58公里。镇内的主要道路有G205国道（惠深公路）、S358省道（淡清公路）和惠盐高速公路。^[3]当地属亚热带季风气候，年均气温约21.7摄氏度。^[1]

白云嶂位于镇境，主峰高1003米，为惠阳区最高处，山上建有市级的白云嶂自然保护区。^[7]

名胜古迹[edit]

据镇情介绍，镇内有市级文物保护单位1处，即约场村魁星阁；区级的有7处，分属各村：新丰村的大塘世居，红田村的盘谷宫遗迹，约场村的卢伟如故居，新联村的祝长世居，以及同村的大岭下革命烈士纪念碑；另有南坑村新围场的李氏民居、花果村的朱氏围屋。^[3]

大塘世居在新丰村塘口村民小组，是清道光十一年（1831年）起建的客家围屋，2010年7月被惠阳区公布为第一批文物保护单位。^[6]

盘古宫在白云嶂上，建于清光绪年间（1888年），共两进，供奉盘古大仙，逢三、六、九日办庙会。百度百科称它位于白云嶂与银瓶嘴两峰之间的垭口，海拔约500米。^[7]^[8]

著名人物[edit]

据镇情介绍，新圩是抗日人物卢伟如、潘东粦、黄德裕的故乡。^[3]卢伟如（1919—1985年）是惠阳人，1937年入党，在东江纵队任过支队长，后来担任广州军区副政委。^[9]
