红田村是惠州市惠阳区新圩镇的行政村，原名黄田。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据传村人先后从江西、福建和梅州一带（兴宁、五华）迁入。建置经过：1962年黄田乡；1969年红田革委会；1972年红田大队革命委员会；1982年恢复大队；1988年管理区；1999年村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此地耕地多是黄土，原叫黄田，“文化大革命”中改为红田。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
据新圩镇情介绍，红田村有区级文物保护单位盘谷宫遗迹。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
